Transportation and Health Care Services

Lisbon has the TAP flight company with several flights from African countries and direct flights to countries including Gana, Morrocco, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde, Senegal, Angola, Sao Tome and Príncipe and Mozambique. It is also possible to fly with low-cost companies such as Iberia, EasyJet, Ryanair, and SATA International. In Europe, Air France, Lufthansa, and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines also connect Lisbon and several cities, including Luanda, Abidjan, Abuja, Acra, Addis Ababa, and Agadir.

Other international companies connect Lisbon to Africa: Fly Angola, Qatar Airways, South African Airways, LAM, Emirates, STP Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, TAAG, Kenya Airways, Roya Air Maroc, and Cabo Verde Airlines.

On arrival:
The Lisbon Airport is located around 5 km from the venue of the conference.

Possible transportation from the Airport to Iscte:

Taxi: Around 15 minutes. Prices may vary with the rush hour: max. 20€

Bus: 744 (Restauradores – Moscavide) and 783 (Amoreiras – Prior Velho)

Subway: Aeroporto Station [Red Subway Line] to Entrecampos Station [Yellow Subway Line] – around 50 minutes. Price: 2,00€ [ https://www.metrolisboa.pt/en/] Take the subway at “Aeroporto” station and keep on the red line until “Saldanha”. At “Saldanha”, change to yellow line and take the subway going to “Odivelas” direction. Get out at “Entrecampos” station (2 stations after “Saldanha”).
