The 23rd annual conference of the Transatlantic Studies Association will be held in Lisbon, Portugal. ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon is a public university established in 1972. With more than 10000 students enrolled in undergraduate (44%) & postgraduate (56%) programs, more than 300 professors and 400 integrated researchers in Management & Economics, Social Sciences & Humanities, ICT & Architecture, it is research oriented, with a multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary research approach.
The City of Lisbon
The campus is in the city centre, with easy access to metro and train stations as well as a bus grid. The train station links with suburbs and the historic village of Sintra, a must-see in the touristic agenda. Lisbon Airport is a short drive away and has direct flights throughout Europe and to North and South America.
